Is there really anything else to write about today?

How many words are being spilled out onto the Internet, onto the pages of newspapers and magazines, being uttered in TV studios and over cups of coffee in diners in flyover country?

More, how many people first heard via Facebook or Twitter, before the news came via TV?

How much has everything changed in a decade? How much have things stayed the same?

What’s next?

I wish I could answer these questions, if only for myself. I wish I could find some sort of resolution.

But the world’s become so much more complicated. There seem to be no more universal rights and wrongs, only “your way” and “my way” and seldom a common ground between us.
