So, each week of the college football season I write a preview for that week’s IU game for the Post-Tribune. Part of the preview spotlights a key player. For Saturday’s game at UMass, I put Indiana QB Tre Roberson as the key player. Of course, Roberson suffered a season-ending broken leg in the Hoosiers’ win.
On Friday night, I was supposed to cover Terre Haute South’s high school football game at Carmel. Like most games in Indiana, it was postponed to Saturday because of the storms that rolled through Friday night. So, on Saturday, I was back, covering a game in which South QB and Purdue commit Danny Etling hurt his ankle.
I wonder how next weekend will go …
