Perhaps the most up-in-the-air group is the defensive line.

It’s hard to say for certain who might get the starting nods along the defensive line, simply because there’s so many possibilities. Whoever gets the bulk of the playing time has to do a better job of pressuring the quarterback and stuffing the run. Last year’s starting tackles, Adam Replogle and Larry Black, combined for 25 tackles for loss and nine sacks. The rest of the team combined had 61 tackles for loss and 18 sacks.

There are several prospects among the incoming freshman who could push for playing time, including Darius Latham, David Kenney and Nate Hoff.
